Product research
A decision framework, not a winning-product promise
Anyone can hand you a list of products. What matters is whether the reasoning behind it survives contact with fees, competition and returns.
- Demand checked before competition, competition before margin
- Margin calculated after marketplace fees, shipping and expected returns
- Risk factors and operational load stated openly
- Every shortlist arrives with its reasoning attached
| Candidate | Demand | Competition | Margin | Risk profile | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Candidate AHome organisationSteady demand, fragmented competition, ships small and flat. | Demand for Candidate A: 4 out of 5 | Competition for Candidate A: 4 out of 5 | Margin for Candidate A: 3 out of 5 | Risk profile for Candidate A: 4 out of 5 | Shortlist |
| Candidate BPet accessoriesStrong demand, but several established sellers hold the category. | Demand for Candidate B: 5 out of 5 | Competition for Candidate B: 2 out of 5 | Margin for Candidate B: 3 out of 5 | Risk profile for Candidate B: 3 out of 5 | Consider |
| Candidate CConsumer electronicsThin margin after fees, high return rate, saturated on price. | Demand for Candidate C: 4 out of 5 | Competition for Candidate C: 1 out of 5 | Margin for Candidate C: 1 out of 5 | Risk profile for Candidate C: 1 out of 5 | Pass |
Listing optimization
Listings that search can read and buyers can decide from
Most underperforming listings fail in one of two ways: the marketplace cannot categorise them, or the buyer cannot answer their own question. Both are visible within a minute of looking.
- Titles that describe the product before they chase keywords
- Item specifics and attributes completed properly
- Bullets that answer pre-purchase questions
- Image coverage and content gaps identified

How it works
The operating cycle
The same five steps whether we run one service or the entire store.
- 1
Assess
We review the store as it stands: listings, seller metrics, buyer communication, and whatever is causing the most friction right now.
- 2
Plan
We agree scope, working schedule, what we decide independently, and what always comes back to you before action is taken.
- 3
Execute
The operational work runs on that schedule. Orders, listings, messages and stock stop being emergencies and become routine.
- 4
Monitor
Seller performance metrics and listing results are watched continuously, so a developing problem surfaces as a signal rather than a suspension.
- 5
Improve
What the operational work reveals feeds the next cycle: listings worth rewriting, products not worth restocking, processes worth changing.
New stores
Starting a store with no selling history
A new store begins with nothing a buyer can use to judge it. That is a real disadvantage and it is worth being straight about. What a structured launch does is remove every other reason to hesitate.
- New store
- Product strategy
- Optimized listings
- First orders
- Positive feedback
- Sustainable growth
We help new sellers build a stronger foundation for their first marketplace orders and long-term store growth. Orders and feedback cannot be guaranteed by anyone, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Marketplaces
Three platforms, handled on their own terms
The services are the same. How each marketplace ranks, measures and penalises sellers is not, so the approach is adapted to the platform rather than copied across it.
- eBay
Listing structure, item specifics, order handling and buyer communication for eBay sellers.
eBay services - Amazon
Catalog accuracy, listing content, order handling and account health support for Amazon sellers.
Amazon services - TikTok Shop
Product setup, content-linked selling, order handling and buyer support for TikTok Shop sellers.

Why work with us
How we operate
One team across all four functions
Research, listings, orders and buyer support handled together rather than by four disconnected people. What the order queue reveals feeds straight back into the listings.
Policy-conscious by default
No review manipulation, no artificial engagement, no working around marketplace rules. Short-term tricks put the account you depend on at risk, and we will not take that trade.
Decisions you can audit
Product shortlists come with the reasoning attached, and listing changes come with a record of what changed. You can challenge the thinking rather than take it on trust.
Operations on a schedule
Orders, tracking and messages handled on an agreed rhythm, so the work that protects your seller metrics happens whether or not it was an emergency that week.
One point of contact
You talk to the person doing the work. Nothing gets lost being relayed through an account manager who has not seen your store.
We tell you what we cannot do
If a request would put your account at risk, or if what you need falls outside what we offer, you will hear that plainly rather than after the invoice.
Questions
Before you get in touch
Which marketplaces do you work with?
eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop. The four core services — product research, listing optimization, order management and customer support — are available on all three. Each platform works differently underneath, so the approach is adapted to the marketplace rather than applied identically across them.
Do you only work with new stores, or established ones too?
Both. New stores usually need product strategy and listings built correctly from the start. Established stores more often need the operational load taken off them, or listings that were built quickly at the time and never revisited. The consultation is where we work out which of those you are.
What happens in the free consultation?
We look at your store or your plans, talk through what is actually causing the problem, and tell you what we would do about it and in what order. If your situation would be better served by something we do not offer, we will say so. There is no obligation and nothing to pay.
How do you handle access to my store?
Access is agreed before any work starts, kept to the minimum needed for the scope, and set up through the marketplace's own permission system wherever the platform provides one. The specific arrangement is confirmed in writing at the outset so there is no ambiguity about what we can and cannot do.
What do you not do?
We do not write, buy or arrange reviews. We do not manipulate feedback, use artificial engagement, or attempt to work around marketplace rules. We do not promise guaranteed sales, guaranteed rankings or guaranteed feedback, because no one can honestly offer those. If a request would put your account at risk, we will tell you rather than do it quietly.
Find out what your store actually needs
Tell us where your store is now and what is not working. We will tell you what we would do about it, in what order, and whether we are the right people for it.
Free consultation. No obligation to continue.
